Abstract

The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in educational settings has the potential to revolutionize the learning experience. This study aims to design and implement an IoT-powered smart classroom to enhance learning outcomes, increase student engagement, and improve teacher effectiveness. The smart classroom system integrates various IoT devices and sensors to create a personalized and interactive learning environment. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods. The IoT-based smart classroom system includes features such as automated lighting and temperature control, real-time student attendance tracking, interactive whiteboards, and personalized learning analytics. The system's effectiveness is evaluated through surveys, interviews, and observational studies, assessing its impact on student learning outcomes, teacher-student interaction, and energy efficiency. The expected outcomes of this study include improved student learning outcomes (20-30% increase), enhanced teacher-student interaction (25-40% increase), and increased energy efficiency (15-25% reduction). This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on IoT applications in education, providing a framework for designing and implementing IoTbased smart classrooms.
